Extras On A Rx300 - Worth It?

I have been quoted £219 for protective film to be fitted to the rear bumper - Is this worth it has anybody had it fitted?

Also they do a "paint- guard" interior and exterior package which protects the paint and interior for a further £350 or £250.

Would Gold member discounts apply to both of these?

Let me know your views please.

Interior is not a good idea. Attracts too much dust.

When we got our RX300se a few weeks back we were advised not to bother spending the money on a bumper cover as this can end up getting scratched and looks worse than if the paintwork gets scratched. As for the supaguarding - we had it done to the exterior and looked great, but have yet to wash it for the first time.

As I am now Gold do the dealer discounts apply to accessories?

Also as the general opinion is that Supaguard is good on the outside and not on the inside is there an package just to do the outside?

Those prices above,i got yesteray(Sat) from Twickenham.

As far as i am aware,yes the discount applies to accessories,depending on dealer.(not all are in the scheme)

I cant see why you cant just have the outsde of the car treated in Supaguard?

My dealer will quote for exterior only Supaguard so I guess they all will.
