Diff and gearbox

Hey guys i have my manual 2001 lexus is200 and looking into doing a gearbox and differential flush but i want know the grade of oil for them. The advice would be appreciated. Also i live in a tropical climate i dont know if this will affect it.Also any recommended brands?

The manual transmission requires 1.8 litres of 75W-90 API GL-3 oil. I've used Redline MT90 oil before in manual gearboxes to improve shifting.

The diff needs 1.05 litres for non-LSD or 1.0 litres for LSD of SAE 90 API GL-5. If using a synthetic oil, such as Redline, and you have an LSD then make sure you get one that is compatible. SAE 80W-90 is only required for climates that drop below 0 degrees Celsius.

I guess it depends what you are looking for. Use the search facility, both have been people on these forums - Japspeed seems to get good comments.

HKS would be the best option but their exhausts are expensive.
