Some other French Lakes in the Alps and Pyrenees I have enjoyed. I am planning some further trecks to more distant ones for this trip which is under 12 weeks to go.

This picture doesn't give the best composition but shows you the immense height of the mountain. I was over 2000m high at this point.

The range is full of interesting formations. Here I am further north near Laruns in the Ossau Valley. This composition will work in the late evening when I am back again.

A couple of hunches. Blakey ridge in N.Yorks or near the Lecht in the Cairngorms.

No, afraid not, but I had been over the North York Moors the day before.on that very road!

I’m going with the type of scenery. It’s looks like there. It’s not Glencoe or Skye that’s for sure or I’d be a fiver richer

I am enjoying the summer at the moment. Here was a particularly pleasant morning in Glencoe last month

I know this spot well, so it was a case of just setting up, taking a few shots as the light changed and just enjoying my favourite time of year :D

Great pictures Stephen. What camera (s) do you use. Currently I use a Leica X1 for street pictures and a Fuji xe1 when I want to have interchangeable lenses.

2x Nikon D810's and a battered old D800

Lens wise I have the best. The Nikkor 20mm F2.8, Sigma ART 24, 35 & 50mm F1.4 primes, Nikkor 24-70 F2.8, Nikkor 70-200F2.8 and many many lee filters and the 24mm Tilt shift as my "work" lens as I do a fair bit of work for some local estate agents.

The weather has been incredible over the last couple of weeks. Here are a few shots taken during what has been the best spell of weather since May which was also pretty awesome. This summer has to the best one I can recall and such a treat after such a long, horrible and drawn out winter.

All great photos Stephen (and I think I remember you from amateurphotography forum?)

I have a thousand pictures from Scotland taken last few years, but not many worth to share, even less with cars. Maybe two with last GS, sunset with Campsie backgroud, and somewhere north of Ullapool:

Been putting off working on this shot for a while - it's not my best of the summer from there. The light never really came through and this glimmer the only light of the day - shame really as the sky was epic and had it come through it would have been one of the all time great mornings.

The same could be said actually of this one. Some nice cloud about -  but it was also too thick behind me when the sun dipped to do anything meaningful. It was on a 121 workshop and whilst the client enjoyed it which was the main thing.

Lochan Na Fola - this was one of the best mornings out...like ever...

Summer at the Torren Lochan - just sat here in the heat made my day. Not long after this the water levels dropped leaving a slightly unsightly muddy line between the water and the grasses. A few more clouds would have been nice perhaps but just being out in the nice weather was joy enough

Buachaille Etive Mor - probably posted some shots from this series in another thread but not this one. Been back countless times but none have panned out as well as this night.

Photography started as a hobby for me but turned into a business. That sort of spoilt the enjoyment for me 😢

I shot my last wedding two weeks ago, so hopefully I might get the passion back 😀

I don’t shoot landscapes, but I’ll try to keep with the theme. Here’s a pic of my local town (using my phone).

And a quickly pic of the motor -

Just a phone snap of my wheels parked up in the Ordesa Valley Monte Perido National park in Spain.

Everything that is right in life can be seen in this snap. Great scenery, great weather, good car and camera lurking [emoji6]

Needless to say the cars been great on the journey down via the Alps, Dordogne and French Pyrenees over the last week.

Just a quick selection from last monday  - for those who know me off the forum I'm still working on the France/Spain pictures from last month but here's last Mondays efforts.

Imagination nill but with the rainfall at least the waterfall has some movement in it.

Torren Lochan - to be honest not so sure on this. I had hoped for more Autumn colour but the tree's just looked a bit withered to me. Still, it was nice and still and a good place just to chill.

This was altogether better and probably should have spent the afternoon here rather than at Torren Lochan.
