. Maybe you could give it a try. https://www.drmare.com/music-converter/

Will be giving this a go, sounds like a real time saver, as I prefer to have MP3 physically on phone to play in car, but at home on PC just stream spotify.

I have been using Audacity to record and then edit for last 12 years, works well, but time consuming, given I have about 4000 tracks stored from Spotify.

By the way anyone wanting a DRM for BBC iPlayer, should look at Get iPlayer (on Github).  Means I  watch the programs I pay my licence fee for, when I want, not within 28 days.

Going off tangent slightly (unusual for me I know...) but some years ago there was a bug with Spotify whereby it would chuck away all the downloaded songs on a whim. I remember sitting down on a plane about to leave for Morocco, putting my headphones on and being rather miffed that the playlist which I had meticulously crafted over the previous weeks had vanished. Luckily Spotify fixed this after general outrage from their userbase, but being able to physically download the songs to the phone itself would have saved me having a very grumpy flight.

A very interesting post - I wasn't aware this could be done. Part of my hobby involves ripping tracks into Audacity in real time - obviously being able to do this more quickly has a great appeal. A quick Google turned up this which lists some free alternatives to DRmare. Thanks for the heads up!

Before jumping in I'd advise caution. I'm sure he or she is a lovely person but one post, only joined 6 hours ago and promoting illegal software :g:
