I've just updated my (very old) sat nav data disk but the screen no longer closes when the ignition is switched off.

I can close it 'manually' by gently pressing it down, but is there a way to reset it so that it pops up and down and tilts as it should....?

Does it still open/close with the button?

Have you checked there isn't a setting to stop it auto closing, maybe a new setting that was added?

I'd recommend you leave it up anyway if you use it regularly. The ribbon cable that connects to the LCD screen can break with the screen being open and closed.
