My rcf modification

Recommended Posts

Thought I'd share my modification been as it's a hot topic.

I never really liked the jelly mould original so when it was hit by a stone it was a good excuse to purchase a new overpriced emblem.

Can only be fitted if you don't have radar cruise.

It's black pearly chrome with matte black background. Doesn't stand out as much so makes the front look better I think. fa280366d212dbca6048b47ffd280240.jpge977af29f3e9a99a2fa3b5b539eefed3.jpg

Begs the question do you have any further plans for the car ?

Not really. Putting filter back to standard today to see if I can tell a difference the other way.

When/If the wheels go bad I will look at them then, I'm pretty happy with it to be honest. Suspension mods would be top of my list but mrs sean has spent all my pocket money on the dwelling mods now.

Yes, I suspect the filter gives more up top but pinches off the bottom. I've kept the better air tube fitted, see what difference just the filter makes - I will say that after a couple thousand miles including all that wet in Wales the throttle butterfly was spotless. I cleaned it when I changed out. So k and n didn't give any maf problems from oil.

Not going to get tested until the run down Wednesday.

Also couldn't stop myself and cleaned under the bonnet and around the engine bay.

Prob spot a few bits but it's one of those job where the extra 10 percent of result needs twice the effort. Outside getting a basic wash Tuesday night ready for Wednesday trip. :Dce835405348ccc5c9e1ae331edd2400a.jpgdd8ab9afa111bbc33611e7e87062bd4a.jpg

By the way. That panel around the bonnet lock removes in seconds and allows one to vacuum down behind the grill. Get all the leaves out the heat exchanger. It's also a spiders paradise in there.
