At last the one I wanted

Recommended Posts

Found myself a Mesa red Is 250 the other day took a chance and left a deposit to reserve it and today went to see it.Deposit was not refundable but I needn't have worried

I was not disappointed a little more miles than I wanted at 80k but its colour and spec made up for it. Full service history. last one done last week at Lexus and full mot. Vheaper insurance than my VWBora !!!!! and runs creamily.

Pick up next week after sales guys changes the front tyres as I was not happy with the Barums on it and is going to get one key fob working just Battery we hope. Could only find one minor scratch on it and the seller had the wheels powder coated Result

Just need an afternoon to workout how to use everything on it.

What a beauty.  You're going to love it Rod.  My very first Lexus was an IS250 SEL (2008), then I had the convertible version (2009).  Both lovely cars.  Have a poorly back now so my RX suits better.  Enjoy your wheels !!

IS250 is "not my kind of porn" (interior especially), but even grumpy me mutters "nice ride, mate". Example looks neat and somebody has care a lot of her. And this paint is phenomenal. On second thought, I am not sure if I have ever seen better looking IS250.

The missus has not seen it yet just one side view pic she has asked if it is as comfy as the Bora which has been a great car I might add but I am in my dotage hahem! I wanted luxury and style she will like it or else .

It has definitely been looked after with care and that will be carried on by myself.

I am surprised it still has the warning sticker on the multimedia player!!!

  • 58 Hybrid Reliability

    1. 1. If you were to consider buying a Hybrid model over 5 years old, would you be worried about the reliability of the Hybrid system?

      • Not really as Hybrid systems are always reliable
      • Not if it had a Manufacturers Warranty on the Hybrid system
      • I would not buy a Hybrid model over 5 years old
