** NOW SOLD ** RC-F QUICKSILVER exhaust for sale

Recommended Posts

As some of you know, I've had my head turned by another carÂ đŸ˜„

I've had Lexus remove the Quicksilver exhaust system and returned the car back to 100% stock.

There have been at least four members buy QS as a result of hearing my exhaust. I'm sure anyone of these members (and others) will verify how good these exhausts sound.

So, if you are on the lookout for a Quicksilver exhaust - drop me a personal message.

Here it is -

No regrets with mine. Search youtube for rcf quicksilver there are a few videos.

Weight saving is 15kg. The same saving 8 grand of carbon spec gets you. Albeit from lower down rather than high up.

I spent some time in an LC500 on Friday. Liked it 👌

Had a good look round a white lc500 last week, fantastic looking car đŸ‘đŸ»

I drove the LC500 for a few laps a goodwood recently, I understand the attraction totally. Very nice place to be and, within the bounds of my own driving ability, was a lot of fun on the track. Though I think it is more a very nice GT car than anything else.

I see there is a lot of choice on the Lexus website at the moment as well, suggests there might be a bit of a deal to be had??

The only thing that puts me off would be using it as a daily driver. It would be living in various hotel car parks and the fact the IS-F is relatively anonymous is an advantage there... As well as being a bit smaller..

But yes, I can see why you might be seduced into one.

How did the cf bonnet and roof perform regarding stone chips?

No issues at all.

Mine is Ngenco’d. No brainier for any RCF - Carbon Edition or not.

Literally never heard of it but looks interesting. Doesn’t seem to be a lot of info about it.

- How does it compare to ppf in terms of protection?

- Is it more like the liquid crystal stuff people apply to protect paint?

- How well does it last?

- How much was it to apply?

Sorry for all the questions!

Personally, unless I'd been shown, I wouldn't know it was on the car. All those that have seen my car say the same.

I looked into PPF, but I couldn't find anyone I trusted and it worked out the same price as NGENCO -  if not more

Ngenco has UV protection properties as well

Ummmm - dunno

- How well does it last?

5 year guarantee

- How much was it to apply?

About a grand for all the carbon bits plus headlights

Sorry for all the questions!

No worries

Cheers buddy, last two questions! Where did you get it done?

So you didn’t bother with the front bumper and wings?

Lexus Cheltenham recommended one guy, but the cost was crazy. I went with Bayliss Accident Repairs.

The exercise was mainly to protect the carbon bits - after all the carbon bashing that has taken place on this very forum 😀. My car is a garage queen covering minimum mileage so I didn't bother with the whole of the car.

It looks like a really good product. Even the best ppf films yellow and peel in places. If this is affective as it looks at stopping stone chips and is a bit cheaper it has to be worth a punt. Just need to find somewhere near me that does it.

Thank you for answering all the questions!
