ODB reader for Japanese Import Sc430

Morning all!  Is anyone aware of a reasonably priced home use OBD reader that can work on a SC430 Jap import? I have a few at home and none work reading the codes and all they do is trigger the engine warning light plus a couple of others.  Even my local garage with their up to date Snap-on reader can’t get a connection.  Thank you in advance for any help!!

Mine's a 2002 Jap import as well, but it hasn't got those gorgeous wheels!  Are they aftermarket? They are beautiful!

Yes they are, they were imported from the US as the fitment was tricky due to the uprated brakes!  Do share a pic of yours!

Hello,

Sorry to jump on this thread, but could those of you with JDM imports do me a huge favor?  I'm in the process of retrofitting jdm mirrors to my USDM sc430 and I have a few questions about the glass.  Could you take some up-close pictures of both the mirrors (glass) and post them on this thread? It's surprisingly hard to find pics on the internet of them.

I don't think many people have the imported JDM SC430 on here, they are mostly the RHD European model.
