Ct200h 2012 dual screen

Hi everyone, forget post here. 

We've got a 2012 Premium ct200h, I'm wondering if it's possible to have dual scree? For instance half screen maps and other half radio/stereo info? Or half maps and other half the hybrid info? 

Any help is appreciated.

Try page 66 in the Navigation owners manual, .......set up home screen, and yes it can be done. 😃

My manual is different to the one you've sent in the link. The one in the link page 66 says "CONNECTING TO INTERNET VIA Bluetooth® DEVICE".

Yes, sorry, little tip, Lexus and Toyota manuals are generally rubbish, from someone who as had them for 40 years lol

Ok so how do I do dual screen like I initially asked please?

1. Press the "Menu" button on the remote touch, then select "Setup".

2. Select "General" on the "Setup" screen.

3. Select "Home Screen".

4.Select the items to be set.

5. Select "ok"

All the years I’ve had mine and I didn’t know you could do this. Guess I should read all the thick volumes of the manual ha ha.

I've just checked, I don't have "Home" under General > Setup.

My car is a 2012 UK spec.

Same here, no home button. I have a 2011 model.

Shoild be similar to pre 2013 nav aswell

Wow yours looks really nice, Mine is not like that at all and doesn't have that option, do I need to have the dealers update it?

Looks like two different nav units, 2011 and 2013. Update to firmware/maps won't change the look or functionality.

My 2011 looks like the 2nd one too. It was obviously updated a while after.

If I changed the head unit hardware next to the gear shifter to a newer (2013) will it work straight away or needs coding etc?

I agree it looks nicer but not sure if your idea will work with swapping head unit as i have no knowledge of the procedure. 

I find it strange that the 2013 has different software than 2011-2012. And 2014+ has a completely different software than 2013

Wasn't the CT facelifted in 2012? - Could it be that yours is the pre-facelift model which does not have the dual screen functionality?

(The facelifted model introduced the spindle grill.)

That was the introduction of the f sport model. The 2013 model had minor improvements such as power seats on both sides , slightly different nav(dual screen blue ) and the addition of eztra padding on the centre console. Not sure what else. The actual facelift came in 2014 with the new shape bumpers and other refinements
