Energy monitor screen

Recommended Posts

Hello all, i have noticed the energy monitor screen on my lexus IS300H  dims when i turn on the lights as the evenings start to get dark. Is this normal so ur not blinded by the screen while driving at night or would it be a sign of the 12v Battery be going week ??

Thanks.

Dash display will dim as the ambient light level drops.

All the electrical power will be delivered from the traction Battery, once in the Ready state. The 12v only supplies power in accessory mode or to the easy access system and start-up computers until the hybrid system is running.
