RX300 - rear squeak

For a few days I have had a really annoying squeak coming from the inside car rear.

Could not sort it.

As first I thought it was the parcel shelf - sprayed silicone stuff on surfaces - no luck.

Finally tracked it down.

It was the rear seat verticals - where they fold - rubbing together. Dry leather?

More silicon spray - solved. Squeak gone.  🤓

I'd've thought more a loose seating than dry leather.  I've folded the seat and folded back and it has taken care of the odd squeak. 

Which silicon spray do you use?  Sounds useful.

Any quality Silicon spray works well.

Always worth having a tin for squeaks in cars - and houses.

Silicon spray on the window guides really makes the windows rise and fall very smoothly. Also, extend your seat belt to the max and spray the belt with silicone spray, let it dry for 10 minutes and your seat belts retract again like new. Really good stuff to have in the car.
