I am going Skiing in Bulgaria at the end of the month. Anyone been here before and could advise what currency you spend 'in resort' ?

I am being told "Take Sterling" by some sources and that you can spend 'Levs' by another. If anyone has any first hand experiance I would really appreciate it.

If its anything like Romania it will be dollars or euros with euros being better value.

you will be approahed by moneychanger on the street..........best avoided.

Lots of little money changing shops with the daily rate outside they are competitive.........you can also draw money out from cashpoints

my advice is about Romania remember but they are neighbours.

If you'd have selected Romania could have given you chapter & verse (where Mrs E comes from !
