Grateful if anyone can help my 2012 IS 200 d f sport has developed a problem with opening the boot

the remote won’t open it and the switch inside the car won’t do it either- so I’m stuck using the key which is awkward

grateful for any advice - could it be a fuse . Reason I ask is it seems to have started following change of car battery

Welcome Joss,

When you say the switch in the car, do you mean the one on the right of the steering wheel near the fuel release?

If so, have you check the switch inside the glove box?  In case you weren't aware, there is a valet switch in there that disables all the other means of opening the boot, as a security feature.

Let us know.
