What would be the approx. price to renew my timing belt on a GS 430. ?

I was recently quoted £450ish which includes water pump and idlers. It's the same engine as yours.  You can get it done for less without the pump but I wouldn't risk it.

I had belt and pump done a couple of years ago. I think it was around £350 (not at main dealer).

I've misplaced some of my receipts so I can't confirm that at the moment.

. ........... it's about an 8 hour job and the waterpump should be done at the same time as that's an integral part of the 8 hours !

Also then the lost coolant replaced and serpentine belt to change too if it's old and a bit gnarled .............

I had mine all changed at this last service this year on 100k miles change but at 11 years ....  cambelt looked fine on the surface

Lexus birmingham had a fixed price for the belt replacement £295 and then add £100 with water pump.  But I got mine done at my local garage as I've known them for years and years and I bought the parts and they charged me £180 to get them replaced
