iPhone XR Bluetooth connection to RX450H

Having just upgraded to an Iphone XR from an Iphone 6S I am having difficulties connecting to my car.

I am also have problems connecting to my wireless Sony headphones. Both connected ok to the 6S.

I am assuming it is the phone being a Bluetooth 5 version. Is any one else having the same problem ??

 

I have been on apple websites and found no solution that works.

Hi,

I had no issue connecting my new Iphone XS max to RX450H (2010) from Iphone 6 plus. You may need to delete previous phone history/ settings in car settings.

 

The only issue i have is 3-4 seconds delay in playing video though my  phone via Bluetooth in my Lexus IS300H. No idea what it could be. Did you have this with your Iphone 6s?

Fixed the problem, was a case of having to paigr the new phone with car, doh!!

I only use the phone for its primary function, I have enough music on the HDrive and also connect my music via the usb socket from a memory stick.
