DAB Radio on standard IS250 CD Player

Hi All,

Has anyone managed to install a DAB Radio on the standard IS250 CD Player (without sat nav). The radio on my SEL has not so good reception. So i came across these DAB radio antennas that you stick on the windscreen, so was wondering if it is an easy fix to take apart the existing radio and attach the antenna in the back, will the existing radio have an external antenna socket.

I wouldn't go to the hassle and expense, particularly if you are in the UK as dab in the UK is shockingly bad and the continual dropouts depending on your area will drive you nuts.  Wife has given up with dab and listens to FM.  I stream internet radio from my mobile.

My is250c has the dab module fitted to the ML sound system.  It's reception is about as good as the VW Passat we have.  I wouldn't recommend throwing your hard earned cash at it.

Better results can be had streaming from your mobile.

Hi ,based on my experience with DAB on my IS250C SEL ,I would not bother with it ,I was very disappointed with reception which is patchy so I don't use it anymore
