Evening all,

I've got to replace my rear shocks AND exhaust, so to minimise cost, I'm looking at these:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/STAGG-2-REAR-SHOCKS-STRUTS-THAT-FITS-LEXUS-SC430-05-06-07-08-09-10/113158390308?epid=1730477345&hash=item1a58c40224:g:RzkAAOSwMmBVnX3k:rk:67:pf:0

Comments?

Thanks.

Good find on price but I’ve never heard of of that brand are they a budget part from the states ? Problem would be warrenty if you get a problem, what’s the best price you’ve had from Toyota parts ...£125.00 each ??

They do look like a bargain (there maybe some import duty to add) but unless you are looking to upgrade, I would stick with original equipment from Lexus.

How much of the exhaust needs to be replaced? There is some good resource not too far from you.

I think the price from Lexus was north of £200 each.....

Yes, I can't find any in the obvious places so searched a bit further and I've just seen an archive on another forum that suggests they are main dealer only and over £300 each.😲 Perhaps sourcing from the US is the best option,

As an alternative, MeisterR adjustable coilover units are about £700 for all 4 + fitting. They make a significant difference to the way the car performs and they would allow you to lower it if that appeals. Many owners say it's the best upgrade for the SC430.

I asked this company for a quote. Never heard anything back.

If shipping from outside the EU - the shipping is usually around the 150-200 mark, then add duty.....

Thanks for the reply. I've seen those listed for 05 - 10 and then Gabriel G51995 which says fits 02 - 05. ( with some conditions ) Confused which to go for 🙂
