Screen wash jets

Recommended Posts

Not sure how simple this is to fix, but the windscreen washer jet on the passenger side on my ISF has stopped working.  Hoping it was just a blocked hole in the jet I looked at it today but it appears more complex than I thought.  Each washer jet unit is embedded in the bonnet, so really not accessible unless you take take the unit out.  Does anyone know if each washer jet has a built in pump, or is there a pump for both units? Are they simple to replace/fix?

thanks for any help.

Not the same vehicle but my Traffic van always has a blocked jet they did not fit a filter on the reservoir which I think is part of the problem. I regularly have to set to with a needle on the suspect jet then put my finger over the working jet to block it up completely this seems to work every time. I guess you have tried the obvious anyhow.
