My Lexus is a T reg 300 auto. Only 3 yrs ago I bought brand new front disc calliper cradles at £400 the pair. A bolt had seized and then snapped. Now only 35k miles later I need another one for passengers side. There is a thud type noise as I start braking.

David,

Hello from me, I'm a 2001 GS300 owner also in Merseyside (South Liverpool to be a little more precise).

Not sure what you mean - you purchased new caliper carriers because one the carrier bolt to the front knuckle snapped?
