surely copious quantities of carrots or carrot juice will help

Years ago a mate of mine tried this pre a holiday to Benidorm (so he did not stand out whern on the beach).

He looked like a ruddy carrot, or maybe better to say a Trump.  Took two weeks to become his normal pale Brit in colour.

Was wondering if xenons (on the LS430 specifically) get dimmer over time? They seem pretty poor at night now but looking at them from front they are blindingly bright. I cleared the lenses with Meguiars restore kit but they are no brighter. Someone told me that xenons don't ever get dimmer they just blow after lots and lots of time. Can anyone tell me?

Thank you

Alex

Xenon HID (High Intensity Discharge) bulbs do fade over their lifetime but are far longer lived than Halogen ones.
The one fitted to the 430 are D2S fitting, 35W, and I believe are 6000k colour, but may be 4300k.
.
Don't forget that only the dipped beam is Xenon. The high-beam and fog lights are good old halogen filament bulbs.
