Anyway to 'Lock' yourself in?

Recommended Posts

Not sure if it's possible but is there a way of locking the doors so they cannot be opened from the outside while you are in the car?

Reason I ask is that driving back from London after a Night shift just now I stopped in the Service Area for forty winks and wanted to lock car while asleep for obvious reasons.

Locking the car with the remote fob did lock doors but alarm went off shortly after as I was detected as an intruder!

Also if car is locked and fob is in proximity to car then I guess doors can be opened from outside!

Any suggestions?

My car auto locks when you hit 15mph. And then unlocks when I put it into park. I programmed this via techstream with no issues.

Mine does the same at 12mph, although I'm not sure it does on non imports.  I like it as it means passengers can't open the doors until I'm in park.
