Hi, I have recently purchased a 2003 LS, there is a problem with the Mark Levison amp part no. 86280-0W040 it's not operating. I sent it off to a company that had a look and said it had water ingress and needed a part that would cost £795. Obviously thats a non starter for me, there are a few out there £125 / £200 so the question is will one with the same connectors but a diff part number work ie

86280-0w360 out of a IS?  I have seen a block that states the 0W041 is good. Also if the amp is broken will it have a knock on affect on the SATNAV because this also is not operating, I have had it apart and it looks like it has also had water in it.

The best way may be to contact Paul Frost (Lexussparesdirect) he breaks LS's and has immense knowledge.  Apart from sound, I doubt the amp will affect the sat nav. It's not uncommon for the ML amp to go kaput sadly.  I think this is the correct number for Paul:  07590 072646.

Thanks for the number. I have a bid on eBay at the moment so may get lucky £79 at moment.
