Front discs studs holes - missing spacers?

I've just fitted a pair of Mintex front discs (https://www.brakebook.com/bb/mintex/en_GB/MDC900_82/datasheet.xhtml) and noticed the holes for the studs are 2-3mm larger. I've contacted Mintex but obviously can't expect a reply before Monday at least.

I've seen on some Youtube videos that there should be some spacers, probably to protect the thread on the hubs too. However there's nothing in mines, and I don't recall anything on the old ones (which are now at the skips).

I can't see anything about it in the service manual, so I wonder if it's just me or others have the same.

Thanks
