akward fuel filler neck???

Recommended Posts

hey, guys newbie here just purchased my first Lexus IS200 2.2 diesel. absolutely lovely car and nothing to complain about except the strange diesel filler neck. I went to refuel it and hey, the nozzle won't stick into the neck as it's wider than the neck hole, never seen this before, usually, the nozzle goes into fully, is it normal for Lexus?  I attached the pic of my fuel neck here and would appreciate your advice very much.

best regards

Yes, my car is 2.2 diesel and I put diesel in it. I had a feeling that the filler neck would fit petrol nozzle
