Interesting Parking Sensors

I'm not sure if anyone else has come across these on eBay before.

But this one is very interesting

MAGIC MIRROR 8 SENSOR REVERSE PARKING RADAR

Would this fit the IS, how easy would the wiring to the mirror be?! and could you use it without the front sensors, just think they will be a ***** to install.

And another one

4 SENSOR REVERSE PARKING RADAR

Has a picture of GS on the box....

No experience with these though.

The mirror one should'nt be too difficult to fit. I guess it should come with a connector to plug into the control box, the control box will conect to the sensors and have GND and + with in reverse, and presto..

steve what about routing the wire to the mirror.

And how can the screen just clip on?

Looks like a complete mirror raz, which clips on to the existing.

Like the BMW I think you will see some of the cable routing into your headliner, not much though, I remember I had the suto dim mirror on my M3 which had a small wire in rubber tubing.

Do you really need parking sensors with a screen - the mirror idea is good but the others would be a pain.

Most car manufacturers just have an audible warning (except Merc) I just fitted some with just a speaker and 3 flush sensors and there great. With Gold discount it only cost £65

No, i think 2 or 3 sensors are fine.

I would have gone for the mirror type, except you lose the auto dipping function in the exsiting mirror so didnt bother
