Extended Warranty question

Hey folks just thinking about getting the extended warranty for the IS F.

Heard that as mileage gets higher it’s may be prone to the Valley Plate Leak or The exhaust manifold may crack/leak.

These sound expensive, would such a warranty cover these eventualities? 

All fine just now, but peace of mind would be nice!

Those faults would be covered under the Lexus Extended Warranty provided you keep the warranty valid by servicing at a Lexus dealer etc.

I always thought that the Lexus Warranty had to be 'started' within 10 years of first registration and less than 100,000 miles but that document states 140,000 miles? Along with Full Lexus service history or if not an inspection to decide if they will 'take in on' is required

Car is 2011 so 7/8 years old full service history. So should be fine with regards to obtaining a warranty. Thanks for everyone’s input so far.

It may have been 100k miles in the past but it has been 140k miles for some years now, possibly when they changed from 1 to 2 year policies.
