We love our Lexus IS200 it is 16 years old and passed it's MOT 6 months ago with no problems.  However last Saturday my daughters' boyfriends' car rolled down the short hill and hit the car on it's right side, damaging the bumper, wing and headlight.  We now have to part with it but we want it to go to a good home?  Anyone interested in it for parts or to do up and keep going?

surely its not loved that much if you willing to get rid of it after 16 years of serving you. with minor cosmetic issues which wont cost thousands to fix?

Point taken, but it is loved and it may cost at least a £1000

if its of sentimental value then  of course its a no brainer to fix it. if you tired of it and need to change to a younger car, it will still cost you more than a £1000 to buy that car in the first place..
