Displaying Messages on GS

Hi can anyone help me, try as I might I can't get messages to display with my Galaxy S7, I have all the appropriate setting on the phone and car enaabled as suggested on this forum but still nothing. 

Anybody any ideas.

put all your car and phone details in, it will tell you all the services available, and then follow the instructions to try and get it working.

Thanks for the reply Connoisseur, my S7 is compatible with all the options regarding messages and I have all the necessary items turned on but still nothing, everything else is there ( contacts/favourites ) etc, but no option for messages.

That’s not good. Last thing I can suggest is to delete your car record from the phone Bluetooth in its entirety, then restart your phone and pair from scratch. Unlikely be it might be worth a try. If no joy then try and find someone with an S7 to see if their phone will pair. Has your car got the latest software installed?

Also, apols if it’s a daft question, but in Bluetooth settings on your phone, sms/texts are a separate setting from phone audio. The sms option is ticked? Am sure it is but no harm in asking.......

Thanks Michael,  yes I have sms option on in BT on the phone, deleting everything and starting from scratch sounds like a idea I'll give it a try.

The feature is very hit and miss for my, and also was on my IS. Works for a bit then just stops, then suddenly 6 weeks later starts working again. 😞
