Does anyone know whether a card key can be purchased retrospectively? If so, how much is it likely to cost?

My car did not come with one, and I have always like the idea of it in place of the regular fob.

EDIT:
I have found an entry in the IS forum that states that: "[...], I bought a genuine Lexus replacement from main dealer, £280 for key £50 for programming to car"
I have also emailed my dealer and will post their response on here if/when I get one.

The keycard is just like a standard key, the mechanical part can be cut and the electronics programmed to work with any new Lexus that uses smart entry. Quite expensive - never use mine as I find it a bit too thick and I'd rather not lose my wallet and car key at the same time 😞

UPDATE:

The total cost for the key, including coding and VAT, but excluding the key blade that is included in other keys is... £512.34.

I think I'll live without one.

If you've got one already... don't lose it!

Yikes.

I've just ordered a new car that comes only with card keys. A replacement key card is..... $33. Not quite sure where Lexus are getting off at £512!
