2017 LS460 Cabin Air Filter problem

I have trued to follow the instructions in the manual for replacement of the cabin air filter and I have hit a roadblock. I have set the air direction to recirculating and have cleaned out the glove box, including the small platform. However, unlike previous models of the LS460, I cannot get off the dark 'door' in front og the filter bracket. In the past you would just push up the door and it would tip out as shown in the manual. In the 2017 model, there is nothing I see that you can grab on to push the 'door' up and out. I haven't see anything online for this model. HELP!!

I haven't ever seen a post where someone has such a late LS.  Personally I would phone any Lexus main dealer and ask to speak to a technician, they'll give you the info you need and are generally very helpful.
