RX300 - mk2 - All ALUMINIUM RADIATOR

Recommended Posts

I'm looking at installing one of these all aluminium radiator in my Lexus RX300 mk2 2004 since my old one is showing signs on leakages on the sides

Has Anyone ever had experience of using any of these  ALUMINIUM RADIATORs

Is this a Good or Bad idea ???

I'd normally question why unless you have a modified engine however it may be cheaper than a standard replacement. Just make sure it has a built-in oil cooler for the transmission (which they seem to do) and make sure you use pre-mixed Toyota coolant, that won't react with the aluminium.

The Mishimoto one is for an IS300 - not sure if they do one for the RX and I wouldn't recommend using the high pressure cap if it comes with one, standard pressure is fine and better for your stock hoses and thermostat.
