This morning went to the is250c and the car unlocked fine with the usual hand pressure on site handle.

Went to petrol station. Filled up and came home.

I cannot lock the car either by the door handle method or remote control..

If I get in the car and hold the fob to the start button I can start the car.

Both keyfobs are behaving in the same way.

Both keyfobs have very recently replaced battery's and have been faultless..

Please advise.. I'm really stuck with this.

Cheers

Paul

Firstly are all doors/bonnet/boot & fuel flap fully closed? Then the next no cost option I would perform would be an ECU reset ( dis-connect Battery negative ( - ) terminal for approx 10 mins) Electric  Windows will (may) need re syncing after, as per owners manual.

The plot thickens...
I've just been talking to one of my neighbors with a Nissan quashqui. His remote isn't locking or unlocking the car unless it's against the glass near the mirror.. new Battery in his remote...

It gets better. His neighbour with a Nissan van is also having exactly the same issue..
Radio interference ???
There is a radio ham in the proximity ??
That's 3 vehicles within 100 yards of each other all having an issue... That cannot be a coincidence ??

Your thoughts please

I had the same problem a few months ago. Definitely radio interference. I asked my new neighbours if they had any new equipment,  but of course they said no. Shortly afterwards, everything went back to normal, and I was able to use my keyfobs again.
