Central locking...??? 1 door unlocking..

Recommended Posts

Since I had the trauma the other weekend with locking the is250c which I suspect was rf interference I've got a issue that I believe I've caused.

When I now unlock the is250c, only the drivers door unlocks. Passenger stays locked.

Can someone advise me on how to reset the fob/car so both doors unlock please..

Cheers

Paul

Not sure on resetting the locking ECU specifically but have you done a total 'soft' reset by way of removing Battery negative terminal?

And concerning the recent RF problem, did you get a definitive cause or has it subsided?

Note, just had a thought and it might be two level unlocking for security reasons, ie if you return to car alone and approach from drivers side then unlocking with remote only unlocks drivers door to prevent any Herbert gaining access into the passenger side.

Confirmation, 2 Step Unlocking. All doors should unlock if you press 'unlock' button on keyfob Twice.

So global unlocking ( single push) is available if you have Techstream in the Customizable or Personalisation settings, or if you still frequent the Dealers they may do it foc ( Ha!) next visit.
