Hi Dave..

Welcome me to your Club.

I have just secured a purchase for my Nos kit.

Same make of kit as yours .. Thanks for testing it for me :)

11lb silver bottle, 50bhp jets, mini max progressive controller, goodridge braded hosing for nos lines etc..

See you in my rear view mirror Paul :D

Just to add...

I purchased my kit from Mark at MD Autostyling. The whole thing went smoothly and Mark offers some smashing deals and is very technical minded.

Judging from seeing Dave's install. I am going to install this kit myself and let you know the results, I have many pointers from Dave already and have a special frabrication company I am going to use for something special...

Will post up pictures soon..

If you are going to compare my car with Pauls...

Currently I will be faster on the BUS. :D

No.... Was thinking about the NOS kit a long time ago. After going for a drive in Daves car, well it helped me make up my mind.

As for Paul .. well good luck to him and his IS300. Sure it will be fast as standard, but after the Turbo charger is added. Well I will need a bit extra.

Whats that Dave mentioned about an Auto ... and a Stick.... Walking stick

they should put a warning disclaimer on daves car,

"anyone entering this vehicle is liable to get nos in the immediate future"

its infectious

damn nice though :)

congratulations steve, i am sure you and nos will make a perfect couple :winky:

No worries Neil...

If I wanted an Auto.. I would have brought an IS300 a long time ago. :P

It's all part of being indiviudal.

I can't wait to see what bits Paul's gonna go for on his Is300. I been reading up on the IS300 tuning for about a year now and I know it's very tuneable.

As for me.. I am more then happy with my IS200 currently, but after sitting in Dave's.. Well that was awesome as Paul would also tell ya.

What ever next eh .. :winky:

Thinking of Lightweight flywheel,

Rear DBA's

TRD LSD

TRD short shift kit perhaps..

That's some serious Mod's Dave.

What are you doing with your old bottom end of the IS200.

Can anything be done to that to improve things ?

Could it be bored out too ?

the bottom end will be all steel.......crank,rods,pistons.........being rebored to +.40 :whistling:

I know not a lot about Engine internals Dave..

What does this all mean ?

How much does this all cost ?

Who will bore them out ?

How much to fit all these new mod's ?

Is there a guarantee these new components will all work and compute correctly first time round ?

No guarantee for sure, no tuners give guarantees, if it blows up or goes wrong you're on your own - sensible really since you are pushing the limits of the design of a component so if it goes wrong its probably not the tuners fault.

I'm no expert

But steel is stronger than cast iron/aluminium

cost is £5k for internals............may be less if more commision the specially made crank :whistling::whistling::whistling:

casting/machining/reboring being done by a firm TDi use who did the same (2.4 all steel) for scort cosworths)

In theory it should all work as all we are really changing is the stoke..........

Marks done the drawings for the crank......so all shd be well...........

The increased rev limit is the real bonus............

You mentioned the TRD LSD mark said its really noisey........I'd look for one from a crashed Sport...........then maybe consider racelogic...........

With everything its a risk..................

I'm prepared to give it a go..............

You can be co pilot in the first NOS'd up 350 bhp run if you want :whistling:

Look forward to it Dave.

How long will you lose the car for during the install ?

I'll not be dropping mine off until the new motor is all ready.........its then out with mine..................in with the new.........plumb in FCON................hoping for a week.
