New Number Plate

I am just getting ready to sell my car before my new one arrives at the end of March.

I have put the private plate on retention and need to get a normal number plate made up so I can swap them over. I have all the documentation from the DVLA, but just need to know where the cheapest place to get this done is?

Any ideas?

I think the small auto accessory stores make them up cheap, even Halfords is o.k if you want a standard plate made up with no extra trimmings.

I gather when you got you cherished plate on retention, your original plate when re-instated on your car and now you need to get the plates made again.. is this the case ?

Plates cost around £10 from Halfords.

If you've got the original number why did you get rid of the plates?

But if you've been given a new no then Halfords are fine.
