Sport/ECT/Snow button not working after replacing Body ECU 1

As the title really guys. I had to replace my body ECU no.1 on my 98 S2 GS300 as it was draining the Battery, and now I have nothing on dash for the Power/snow modes or ECT OFF. The key fob is also not operating the central locking but I think I can do that with the door dance sequence. Any ideas?
