Does IS250 2009 play DVD movies?

I have IS250 2009 and just wondering if there’s any chance to play DVD on the screen. I’ve seen this on YouTube and would like to know if this feature is included in my car.

If you have the Mark Levinson stereo it does.

Agreed, although the picture is pretty poor and almost invisible in anything other than darkness.

Never ever used to watch anything on mine, but did enjoy listening to DVDs by music artists.

Have tried playing a DVD?

Should only work with the car stationary, perhaps even only in Park.

Can you not adjust the screen display brightness etc? One can on my 2019 ML...

The handbrake light needs to be ON for the display to show video ( gearbox not required to be in P ) but even so when vehicle moves and a VSS signal is sent to multimedia unit picture will close down.
