Lexus NX300H Dog Guard

Recommended Posts

Hi All

Just Joined the Lexus Owners Club.

I pick up my Lexus NX300H next week (DVLA should have sorted Paperwork by then)

Any thoughts on best Dog Guard around for the NX300H?

All the Best

Bernie

I have a cage rather than a guard, that way if involved in a collision she is safe, even if the tailgate comes open. I also have some room left for bits and bobs!

Agree about the cage for the back of the NX. A colleague of mine had a very nice one which fitted snugly in the luggage area with the parcel shelf removed. Would you be interested as she is unable to use it any more?

Hi Malcolm

Thanks for the offer , what size is it as we have a Go;den Retriever , so not a small dog ?

Best regards

I agree about using a cage. We have a greyhound and she goes in her cage in our Volvo estate, I also hold the cage down with a ratchet strap for a bit more security.

I will measure it. Unfortunately, it is not at my house so this may take a few days. I would mention that my lady colleague (who has unfortunately passed away) had 2 chihuahuas...😊

May be a tad small then Malcolm

No panics this end still considering a dog guard if I can get a decent one for the right money

Best regards

Bernie.

I have got a friend to measure the cage. It is:

550mmW x 430mmD x 500mmH

It does seem a bit small for a Golden Retriever! Let me know if it would be of use.
