Is there any point in tethering phone?

Recommended Posts

When I am on the drive my car links to my home wifi. I can't for the life of me work out what is the point as the app store has nothing, I can't update sat nav or car without a usb stick, gracenote the same. So why would I use my phone when on the move? Does it give better traffic info? Am I missing something?

As above.

Personally only ever bother if I'm using the Sat Nav for journey directions. Plus when tethered SMS notifications are disabled

    1. 1. If you were to consider buying a Hybrid model over 5 years old, would you be worried about the reliability of the Hybrid system?

      • Not really as Hybrid systems are always reliable
      • Not if it had a Manufacturers Warranty on the Hybrid system
      • I would not buy a Hybrid model over 5 years old
