Sadly, I am getting shot of the Lexus as priorities and needs have changed.

Definately one of the best cars I have owned and a lot of kit for the money.

So, the spec is as follows;

Lexus GS300 Sport (Sat Nav) – 2000 V Reg

Registered December 1999 as a Lexus Twickenham demo car. Previous owner bought a few months later for £39,000

Full spec includes

Astral Black metallic

Full grey leather

18” Sport alloys

Red calipers & White Lexus stickers

Fastidiously maintained by Lexus dealers throughout

New Pirelli P Zero tyres all round (£800)

No markings at all on alloys

Extras

Satellite navigation

Xenon headlights (with auto on command system)

Rear parking sensors

Electric front seats and 2 position memory to drivers side

Heated seats

Electric steering column adjustment

Climate control

In dash 6CD auto changer, tape and stereo system

Cruise control

Lexus Gold stickers

Headlamp washers

Electric tilt and slide sunroof

Electric heated mirrors (and memory position)

Fully fitted Nokia hands free car kit

Twin air bags

Traction control system

Remote control central locking

............... and the list goes on.

The service history is all Lexus Twickenham/Guildford except for the very last oil change service which was at an independant dealer. The car has done 90k

It has had all of the usual gremlins sorted out - wheel wobble, lower ball joints etc so this should be a maintenance free car.

I paid £14,000 for it in September 03 and having spent £1000 on it since then with the service, ball joints and 2 new tyres, I am looking to get as much back on it as I can. Theres no such thing as depreciation freee motoring so I am asking £13,500 for it.

I will post some better pics in the garage at the weekend but for now mine can be found at here and here

I am re-considering my motor at the moment.

I have got to look at a GS300 properly yet.

I have 3 kids, 2 in full seat boosters and 1 in 1st child seat. These will have to fit alongside each other in the back.

Has the car got 3 point belts for 3 in the back ??

If so then it is just a question of width and me getting rid of my Alhambra!

regards,

Matt

Yes it does have 3 seat belts in the back. It is a pretty wide car in the back and you can get 3 adults so I guess you would get the car seats in

cool move for the family transport and definately better than the MPV. If you paid the asking price I would even throw in a fully fitted DVD system with headrest screens etc

I am checking out a few things......

Insurance cheapest quote £850 so far, busy weekend so many calls to do yet.

had a look at one at http://www.whitehillscarcentre.co.uk/ just to size up but they were busy selling an M3 so I could not get the seats tried in the car.......

Is the Sat nav an annual fee or CD ROM????

I'll let you know soon as I can.

The SAT NAV is a CD rom so theres nothing more to pay. I have also upgraded it to the latest version so it has more roads and a few features

That insurance quote do's seem high i have a mk1 so probaly would be slightly cheaper, but i got mine from tesco's for £400 so give them a go.

 Hey, I paid less than £400 (can't remember exactly) for Comprehensive Insurance on my late 1997 49k miles GS300SE II at Churchill.

But then I am 56, max NCD etc.

And the car only cost £5,200 - and NU paid me £1,900 more than they should have for the written-off Omega.

Shop around guys! (or look forward to getting old and devious...)

Regards

Phillip
