IS200 suspension advice

Recommended Posts

HI all my Altezza came to me slammed on a set of unknown springs and its very low. Car looks fantastic but the ride is very harsh and the car wont go over speedbumps and is too low for every day use. I need to raise the car up a bit but don’t want to go back to sport springs as I suspect they will be a bit too soft. I didn’t really want the agro of coil overs for a daily driver but guess that maybe all that is on offer. Out of the coil overs it’s a choice between the HSD ones or Tein which are more basic but a lot cheaper. Has anyone got any advice for a more usable day driver setup that is easier to live with?

    1. 1. If you were to consider buying a Hybrid model over 5 years old, would you be worried about the reliability of the Hybrid system?

      • Not really as Hybrid systems are always reliable
      • Not if it had a Manufacturers Warranty on the Hybrid system
      • I would not buy a Hybrid model over 5 years old
