Hi guys i feel a right noob asking this, ive searched and searched, im not getting it, what part of my vin plate is the colour code ?

The bottom row has the exterior colour & interior details. 6N9 is your paint code.

Sorry for hijacking your thread.

My plate shows 941 as color code however the trim code is  LH15 and I can not find that  touch up paint anywhere..even Lexus dont do it anymore.

I could get 941 from amazon but thats about that

don't know if it applies to car paints BUT I remember taking a sample of house paint (  from a piece of door )  for an exact match ( conservation area needs ) and Johnson's were able to analyse and mix as appropriate EXACTLY

is there a paint shop for cars does this I wonder ?

Thanks, i thought it might be these digits but i had to ask, so far i havnet come across colour code searching forums but i now know what to use to get some made up.

I imagine you get it made up anywhere but weather it has the metaillic or pearl in the match i dont know..

Phone Auto-Paint (St Helens) they'll tell you how they can match your car if you intend sourcing paint.
