quick question on battery replacement

Recommended Posts

hi all,

my Battery is slowly dying. it was flat today, managed to get a boost start. my records show Battery is 5 years old

I saw this Battery and pretty much think its correct.

however, quick question:

the terminals on the photo is the other way round. my positive is on the left. also, terminals are forward, mine are at the rear.  Do  I simply just turn the Battery around?

No you need to buy a Battery with the same layout of terminals as the one fitted.

Hi Rishi,

Yes that is the correct Battery - simply turn it round as you have said for the correct fitting position.

If you search here you will find many recommendations for this particular Battery.

    1. 1. If you were to consider buying a Hybrid model over 5 years old, would you be worried about the reliability of the Hybrid system?

      • Not really as Hybrid systems are always reliable
      • Not if it had a Manufacturers Warranty on the Hybrid system
      • I would not buy a Hybrid model over 5 years old
