CT200H Rear Door Catch Adjustment

Good morning all. I've noticed my offside rear door makes a different sound to the others. It doesn't quite have the same re-assuring 'thud' when closing. On closer inspection it sits proud  from the rear quarter panel around 1-2mm when closed.

Has anyone ever adjusted the strike/catch/latch that sits on the wheel arch? The base is covered with a plastic cap which is tricky to remove. I just want to check it can be done without access to the underside which would require removal of the trim under the wheel arch.

If it's aggro I'll get the  main dealership that sold me the car to do it.

Cheers.
