IS300h 180bhp to 220bhp 2019

Hi, I notice on autotrader the bhp for the 2019 is300h has increased from 180bhp to 220bhp. Has there been a change to the engine/electric motor? If so, what's been changed and can 180bhp versions be upgraded?

My understanding is that the 180bhp is the engine power and the 220bhp is the combined engine and motor power! Although the motor is rated around 110bhp the Battery isn't big enough to provide the full power hence the reduction to 220 when combined....

That's correct, they are only stating the power of the ICE engine. Combined with the electric motor, the IS300h has 223bhp.

Ah so it's just the way Autotrader is displaying it. They put the pre < 2019 models as 181bhp, but should be 223bhp?
