Coolant reservoir and radiator caps stuck?

Hello everyone,

thought I’d just check my coolant today and since I’m fairly sure the little level check on the reservoir is clouded over i thought I’d top it up anyways. However i cant actually get the radiator or reservoir cap off, they just are hard to turn (radiator cap especially) and don’t actually undo or anything?!

am i just doing something seriously wrong or is there something else?

Reservoir cap is pull off. Perhaps prize it with a screwdriver..

If it's anything like the IS300 and GS300 then yes, a bit of a wiggle is required. Also a torch is handy for shining through the reservoir so you can see the level more accurately.
