Hi everyone, I’ve finally got on to the Lexus forums and was after some advice. My 2010 is250 has an issue with one of the window wipers where the drivers side wiper is not moving at all whereas the passenger side if working fine. I was wondering if anyone knows how to access it to see if there’s a bolt that may need tightening etc or something simple. My local garage is booked up until new year and I need the car urgently over Christmas! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Josh

At the bottom of the wiper arm "farthest away from the blade mounting end" there is a nut. This nut may be covered by a lift off plastic cover. Try tightening the nut. If this does not cure the problem it will be required that both wiper arms are removed, and the plastic scuttle removed to expose the wiper mechanism.

Thanks John, I’ve just done that and I can see that when I turn the wipers on theres no movement whatsoever ever even know the bolt was already as tight as possible! Any idea what it could be?

thanks, Josh
