There's quite a lag when you first power the car on before the screen displays anything or is usable in any way. Normal operation is fine. Is this normal?

My 2015 gen 3 was also slow compared to my previous 2 Lexus (2014 IS300h and 2015 GS300h).  It was the camera that irritated me most. In fact my dealer replaced the hard drive unit under the extended warranty ( unit costs £1800), but to be truthful it didn't make much difference.

Yes, it's normal, especially if you're talking about the sat nav in particular because it has to acquire and lock on to satellites.

Even if you're talking about the screen in general it's still a bit laggy but again that's normal. As we all know, the infotainment system is the 'Achilles Heel' of the whole Lexus brand.

Mine takes a while to first display the map, especially with the disclaimer message. I usually have it on the trip info screen so I don't notice it as much. Camera isn't too bad, not immediate but not so slow that I'd consider there to be a problem.
