Try pressing brake pedal as hard as you can and press the start button.

Try either with ignition completely off, or double pressing start without brake pedal to bring on second ignition stage and then pressing hard/start.

Thanks. Tried all that

Dav,

ring Westfield motors in Rayleigh (Rawreth) Ian or Chris, give my name, explain the issues and circumstances. They are excellent, they will point u in the right direction and if needed they’re £60ph +VAT.......absolutely everything Lexus have and more,

Paul

Cheers bud.

Bottom line, it's not really my problem. The car is going back to Lexus, so it's their problem.

Update.

I tried to turn off the electronic handbrake last night so that the car could be pushed out. No chance "Parking braking system error" or something like that.

Definitely going have to be dragged out of the garage now.

Get the rear wheels up on little dollies?

Yes, dollies have been mentioned and after today will be the only viable solution.

Lexus are sending out a technician today to see if they can get the car started. I think once it's started the software will right itself. At the moment, the old girl is just very confused and possibly just doesn't want to leave my garage 😉

If you find it back in the garage one day - be afraid. Christine had a large grill too.....
